Folder 1.0 - Help

 A "folder" is some kind of a "container" and can contain files of different types (of the same subject) which can be opened and edited by double-clicking on their icons (via OLE). Use folders when you want to have a quick and comfortable access to files located in different directories.The program and its use is very easy to understand so there is only a very small help file in HTML format (this one your are reading at the moment).

To create a new folder (file extension: .FOL) click on the "New Folder" button.
To add a file to the current folder please use the "Add File..." button and then select a file in the "open-file" dialog.
To remove a file from the current folder, select it in the list and then choose "Delete".
Use "Properties" to show the properties of the current folder and the included files.
"Briefcase" is an alternative view mode to the normal mode shown at the program's start.
Folder 1.0 conatins also a search function ("Search" button) which searches all files of the current folder for a specified keyword.
To close Folder 1.0 use the "Exit" button.

Of course Folder supports also "Drag & Drop": If you drag a file over the Folder window, it will be added automatically to the current folder. The full version also provides a deep shell integration for a maximum of comfort to the user.
